The visionary property developer Taraldset has built an exciting new hotel in Lillestrøm, which is more like apartments with luxurious service, than it is a traditional hotel.

At Landstads Gata in Lillestrøm you can find the newly built Lux Hotel with 50 hotel apartments. The luxurious apartments are from 33 to 123 m2, with a style of high-end Scandinavian and definitely worth a visit.

The location, just a 10-minute drive from Oslo S and Gardermoen airport, is absolutely outstanding. The area is young, dynamic, and characterized by the fact that, in recent years, beautiful quality homes have been built here. The fact that you now find an apartment hotel of such calibre in the area is completely unique. The exclusive apartment hotel, where you feel 100% at home, has a restaurant, spa facilities, yoga, a refined wine bar, a garage with a car-care, several meeting and conference facilities and an impressive sky bar – What’s not to like?

Bathrooms with luxurious spa quality

In each apartment there are beautiful bathrooms, which are almost a private spa universe in themselves. The contractor Taraldset has chosen to have all bathrooms furnished with elements from German wedi®, which guarantees thorough testing and high quality.

The Fundo Integro floor system has been chosen together with wedi Preline, so that the water borne underfloor heating contributes to the luxury feeling in the bathroom. With wedi elements in the construction, many heavy and time-consuming steps when building floors is saved; wedi supplies lightweight elements, and the assembly itself is made simple. With wedi Fundo Integro, the drain is integrated into the element, making it is easy to adapt and adjust the piping.

The walls are covered with wedi Top Wall, which are design surfaces with high abrasion resistance, created with a composite material, composed of stone powder and minerals, which are moulded with a plastic binder. In all of Lux Hotel's wet rooms, the colour Stone Gray is chosen from the PVC natural series, fittings are kept in black or chrome depending on the design of the room, and the drains are black or stainless steel - wedi Fundo drain, so everything matches. The expression is elegant and simple.

Wedi's membrane protection tape is integrated behind all joints on wedi Top Wall design surfaces. This ensures an easy replacement of silicone joints in 5 to 10 years, without damaging the waterproof layer (wet room membrane).
